Rhoden, Leonora “Ellie”, of Pembroke Pines, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at the young age of 52. She was born on December 1, 1965, in Caracas, Venezuela, to Vladimir Chomiak and Asuncion Navarro. Her family moved to Florida in the late 1960’s. Ellie and Dave met in February of 1990, and were married in 1992. She will be sadly missed by many. May she rest in peace. Survived by her beloved husband of 26 years, David Rhoden; son, David Rhoden; and daughter, Cristina Rhoden. A memorial mass will take place on Saturday, April 14, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at Saint David Catholic Church, 3900 South University Drive, Davie, FL 33328. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made in her memory to the United Cerebral Palsy, ucp.org/
