It was the responsibility of Lillian and her two sisters to care for the younger children when her parents separated. When Lillian married the boys moved in with the new couple. As mischievous as the boys were, Lillian loved and teased them about their many mis- adventures, but kept them on the straight and narrow. On New Year’s Day, everyone would show up for her special meal for good luck. She also helped rear Kathy Musselwhite until she married. Lillian was a very religious woman and enjoyed attending the Baptist churches and she had many friends in church. She was always meticulous in her grooming and loved to keep her hair looking nice. She was the first to laugh at a joke and at herself. We really cannot remember Lillian being angry for very long with anyone; however, she did dress down any family member she felt was not doing as they should. She will be missed dearly by all of us who knew and loved her. May she be happily reunited with her loved ones in Heaven.
