Filoso, Linda R., 67, of Pembroke Pines, FL passed away Friday, January 3, 2014. Linda was an amazing woman, loving and dedicated to her family and friends. She was a strong woman of God, dedicated to the Lord. Linda was an accomplished employee of the Broward County School Board who just recently retired, an inspiration to all she would meet, full of life and always positive. A survivor and a gift from God. Her legacy of strength and faith will never be forgotten. She is survived by her husband John Filoso, 3 children; Gina Filoso, David Filoso, John Filoso, 1 grand daughter Alexis, 2 sisters, Pamela Chinelly, Jim and Anna Hardaway. Friends may visit from 6-7 PM, Tuesday at Boyd-Panciera University Dr. Chapel. Funeral Services will be 7:00 PM, Tuesday, January 7, at Boyd-Panciera 1600 N. Linda will be truly missed. I met Linda back in 1987 when I replaced her as the baker at Boulevard Heights Elem. School. We became long time friends. She would always call me and encourage me to attend the FNS parties. She was a good friend. I was blessed to know her.
