Lori L. Shirley, a loving mother, daughter, grandmother and sister, of Hollywood, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 16, 2015, at the young age of 54, after a short battle with cancer. Lori was born on January 21, 1961, in Miami, FL. Preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Fischer. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving daughters, Rachel Shirley and Heather Shirley; her beloved grandchildren, Jaedyn and Jazlynn; her caring father, Gabriel Medica; and her sister and friend, Lani Medina. Visitation will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2015, from 2-4 p.m. with Tributes of a Lifetime at 3:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.

Dear Gabe, Lani, Rachel and Heather. My heart breaks for you all. Lori was such a great friend to me for all the years she lived across the street. I know how important you all were to her. I pray that she is resting comfortably in the arms of God and catching up with Pat. Rachel and Heather honor your mother by being the absolute best person you can be. She always believed in you and your potential. Gabe you were her absolute hero. Lani you were the other half of her. If there is ever anything I can do or if you’re ever in Georgia please contact me.
