STARZINSKI, Louis Casper, age 90, a longtime resident of South Florida, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 24, 2026. Lou was born on January 24, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Anthony and Jeanette Starzinski.

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. After his military service, he continued in his trade and worked as an aircraft mechanic for Northwest Airlines for more than 30 years in both Wisconsin and South Florida.

Lou and his beloved wife of 70 years, Gloria, moved to South Florida in the late 1960s. He was a man of deep faith and served as a deacon at St. Bernadette Catholic Church for 30 years. He was also active in the Knights of Columbus, serving as a Grand Knight and holding many officer positions throughout the years.

Lou loved the South Florida outdoors and especially enjoyed golfing and fishing.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Gloria Starzinski; his loving children, Michael (Ayu) Starzinski, James Starzinski, Rosemarie Starzinski and Robert (Becky) Starzinski; his brothers, Richard Starzynski, Ron Starzinski, Don Starzinski and Jerry Starzinski; his sister, Shirley (Don) Durand; and his adored granddaughter, Madeline Grossman.

A Funeral Mass with honors will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

An urn committal service will take place at a future date at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights, Minnesota.
