Lucy Iovino, 86, a cherished mother, grandmother and sister, of Davie, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016. She was born on June 28, 1930, in Visciano, Italy, to the late Aniello Ferrante and Guisippina D’Elia. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony C. Iovino, daughters, Joanna Iovino and brother, Gaetano (Frank) Ferrante. Survived by her loving sons, Michael (Marion) Iovino, Neil (Gail) Iovino, Anthony Iovino, James “Jimmy” (Cheryl) Iovino, Joseph F. Iovino, Carl N. (Erica) Iovino and John Iovino; brother, Sammy Ferrante; sister, Phyllis Luberti; and many grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, November 10, 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at South Florida National Cemetery.
