Luz “Lucerito” Mejia, age 76 of Miramar, Florida, passed away November 3, 2026. She was born in Ibague, Colombia on June 29, 1950 to the late Heriberto Restrepo and Carlota Ospina.

She is survived by her children: Adriana Mejia, Michael (Grace) Mejia and Angie (Roberto) Mejia; grandchildren: Danielle Mejia, Sebastian Mejia, Samantha Mejia, Natalia Montane and Kairi Caraballo; sisters: Irma Mejia, Maria Carmen Garcia, Amparo Duarte and Marta Camacho; brothers: Ricardo Restrepo and Carlos Restrepo and fur babies: Linda, Leah, Manny, Michi, Fluffy, Tiger & Kelsey.

Funeral Mass to be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, November 9, 2026 at St. John XXIII Catholic Parish Church, 16800 Miramar Parkway, Miramar, Florida 33027.

Followed by 4:00 PM Procession to funeral home for Visitation beginning at 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM, with Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 7:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
