Puente, Luz, 85, a loving sister and aunt, of Hollywood, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013. Born in Cuba to her parents, Bernardo Horruitiner and Irene Puente. After dedication and hard work she obtained her Bachelor’s and became a Professor. Luz is survived by her siblings, maria Paredes, Aurora Horruitiner, Sonia Alvare and Bernardo Horruitiner and her dear niece, Marianela Caldera. Visitation will take place on Thursday, January 2, 2014, from 5-11 p.m. with Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 8:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.
