Marta M. Attkisson, age 78, a resident of Miami, passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018.  Born on June 17, 1940, in Panama, the daughter of the late Gilberto and Laura Aldrete. Survived by her two loving children, Melvin (Fatima) Attkisson and Katherine Attkisson; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 13th, from 7:00-9:00 PM with a Funeral Service at 8:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel. Interment will be on Friday, September 14th, 11:30 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
