Carey, Mary A., a 25 year resident of Pembroke Pines, formerly from Pittsburgh, PA, passed away February 11, 2018. She loved life and was always very active in the community, cherishing and spending much of her time at the SW Focal Point Center where she enjoyed all the activities and her many friends. She will be deeply missed by her family and will never be forgotten. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy McCarthy and her husband, Timothy; grandchildren, Lorraine Davies, Barbi Zehnder, Mary P. McCarthy and Timothy Sean McCarthy. Also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, February 15, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church. Internment and further services will be at Calvary Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
