Mary Alice Buckmon, age 100, passed away at her residence on May 11, 2021. She was born in Rome, Georgia to the late Benjamin and Alice O’Neal.

She is a co-member of the American Legion #321 in Cooper City, Florida.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband: Laydell Buckmon; her son: Rodney Buckmon and her daughter: Claudine Johnson.

She is survived by her son: Laydell Buckmon, Jr.; daughter: Andrea Mulack, and her husband, Christian; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Services to be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Detroit, Michigan, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
