Mary Ann was the best bigger sister anyone could have! She will be missed terribly by the entire family, and there will be now be a void in our family without her. She had such a great heart, especially with feeding people her great homemade meals. Love you, Mary Ann!

You had a BIG personality Mary Ann & it’s what makes you unforgettable. You were always up for a good time, a great meal & lots of laughs & we had a few. I will remember your visits to Gainesville for events along with several week long camp trips you & Ron joined in on with our young family to Salt Springs where we went swimming & fishing & cooking over a campfire. We all loved the outdoors & that particular area in Ocala Natl.Forest among 5 Springs so much. When visiting you & Ron at your place we ended up dancing in your living room to all the "Oldies" from your vast collection of music as you sang along with every one. You were kind hearted & generous but also a straight shooter. You loved animals, especially yours. Ron was uplifted by you. I wish you had been given more time here but heaven has has been gifted so I smile….

MaryAnn has been a very good friend for many years. She had the love of life and was a joy to be around. She loved listening and singing to music of the 50s, 60s and 70s. She loved camping and fishing. My Wife, Janet and I spent week-long camping trips with Ron and MaryAnn to Salt Springs, FL and many other springs around Florida. We had an absolutely great time. MaryAnn was a great cook and we loved being there with them. MaryAnn had a wonderful sense of humor and always enjoyed passing along any good jokes she came across. I will miss her and so will our children. Ron is my Brother-in-law and MaryAnn was my Sister-in-law. Goodbye MaryAnn. We love you.

We are so very saddened to learn of Mary Ann’s passing. Because of the geographical distance between us, Sandy & I were not around Mary Ann a great deal. But I assure you we were around her enough to feel the profound loss that her passing is to all who know and love her. Her joy and zest, for just living life, made her presence a warm experience for everyone around her. We so enjoyed the little time we were able to be with her and Ronnie. Her cooking was legendary throughout the family and was mentioned, almost without fail, in any conversation which brought up her name. I will never forget the homemade split-pea soup she made at one of our family reunions. I nearly cried when it was gone. (Yes, it was that good!!) Mary Ann assured me she’d make it again for me someday. Sadly, I never again got to partake of her split-pea soup. My fault not hers, I know she would have fulfilled that promise in a heartbeat. If only I had given her the opportunity. Rest peacefully Mary Ann, you will be missed.

My family and I will miss Aunt Mary Ann tremendously…. her true love of life, witty jokes, intricate stories, and warm spirit. When I was younger, I used to love when Aunt Mary Ann would visit. She would have me cracking up whenever we were together… like when Ronnie gave her a red thong for Christmas and she posed for pictures with it on her head and when I begged her to take her teeth out at dinner and SHE DID! As I got older, I loved visiting Aunt Mary Ann! She would always cook a delicious dinner to share over strong cocktails. My mom, Aunt Carol, and I visited in May 2014 to celebrate my undergraduate graduation, and she was sure to have all the ingredients to make organize crushes… my favorite cocktail at the time…. a trip I will never forget. RIP Aunt Mary Ann… we are so very sad you are no longer here with us on earth but will hold fond memories of you very close. ??

We were very sad to hear of Mary Ann’s passing. She and Ron have been our neighbors for the last 25 years. While not close with them, they were great neighbors. She always had a smile and a friendly wave when we saw her. Her Christmas cookies, which she brought over for several years, were always delicious. She will be missed greatly and our hearts go out to Ron and family during this difficult time.
