If heaven before had no reason to exist on December 5, 2020 it found one in welcoming the impressionable force of light and love that is the soul of Mary Elaine “Dennie” Rojas.
She was 77. A vibrant and hypnotic storyteller, Mary led her life with flair and exuberance. Though a failing heart took her away from the world, her loving radiant courageous heart will shine forever with all that knew her.
As a young woman she served in the United States Navy. She cherished home life in her Hallandale Beach residence with her beloved dog Sampson and loved spending time with her closest friends, within whom she conferred a love and trust that ran as deep as the mark she left in everyone’s heart. Dennie will be missed forever.

My best friend for 40 years! We shared many life, and death, experiences through the years. We also shared many shenanigans, usually beginning with a martini. I will cherish the memories and miss her deeply. RIP Denni❤️
