Mary Jane Grapperhaus, age 81 of Pembroke Pines, Florida passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019. She was born on Wednesday, June 1, 1938 in Milford, Delaware.

She was Miss Delaware in the mid 1950’s before beginning her life-long career as a stay-at-home mom and grandmother.

After losing her son in 1984, Mary worked through her grief process. She found solace in helping others to work through their grief processes.

She was preceded in death by her son: Steven Grapperhaus and her brother: Ronald Lynch.

Mary is survived by her husband of 63 years: William C. Grapperhaus, daughter: Stacy Landers and her husband, Douglas of Naples, Florida; grandchildren: Brandon Landers of Denver, Colorado and Tyler Landers of Naples, Florida.

Memorial Services to be held on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 1:30 PM at Hollywood Hills United Methodist Church, 400 N. 35th Avenue, Hollywood, Florida 33021.
