Mercedes Gonzalez, 79, of Pembroke Pines, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, December 5, 2016. She was born on August 12, 1937, in Utuado, Puerto Rico, to the late Sixto Gonzalez and Elpidia Figueroa. She was the beloved mother to Pablo Rivera, Amparo Rivera, Veronica Rivera and Iraida Rivera.
