Mercedes Sarabia, age 76 of Weston, Florida passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2020.  She was born on October 28, 1943 in Guayaquil, Ecuador to Luis and Maria Ruiz. 

Mercedes was married to her beloved husband Juan Sarabia  for 61 wonderful years. 

She is survived by her daughters, Virginia (Stuart) Higley, Naomi Sarabia; granddaughters Vanessa Choquette, Cristy Higley.   She is preceded in death by her predeceased brother Jose M. Ruiz, sister Teresa Carcelen. 

Mercedes greatest joy is the love of her husband and her family.  She will be greatly missed. 

Visitation and Services to be held on Thursday, April 16, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with Service at 12:30 PM by, Rev. Garcia at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N University Drive,  Pembroke Pines, Florida, 33024.  Burial to follow at Woodlawn Park, Hialeah, Florida.
