Nancy Major, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, long time resident of Pembroke Pines, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Friday, December 28, 2018, at the age of 84 years. 

She was born on June 6, 1934, in Port Washington, New York, the daughter of the late William and Ethel Suydam. Nancy was a dedicated teacher for many years before retiring. 

She leaves behind her beloved husband, William A. Major; her caring daughters, Linda Sue Dinielli and Brenda Miranda; grandchildren, Michael, Deanna, Vanessa, Julio, Christina, and Michelle; great-grandchildren, Michael, Aiden, and Ryan. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5th, staring at 1:00 PM with Funeral Service at 2:00 PM at Hollywood Faith Christian Church. Interment will be a private event.
