Nancy Opal Jackson, 82, died October 23, 2019 at her home in Plantation, FL.

She was born November 1, 1936 to Arthur L. Ickes & Mary (Freeland) Ickes in Duncannon, PA.

She graduated from Susquenita High School, Millersville University and the University of South Florida. She retired as a Media Specialist from the Broward County School Board in South Florida. She was a member of New Horizon United Methodist Church, Delta Kappa Gamma, Broward County Media Specialists, The Perry County Historians and the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Preceded in death by her Husband James Jackson Sr. She is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Janine (Steve) Wert and Mrs. Jill (Michael) Kuchinos; her son, James (Allison) Jackson Jr.; ten grand-children, two step-children, and one great-grandson.

Friends may call prior to the Memorial service which will be held at her Church, New Horizon United Methodist Church, 5741 S. Flamingo Rd. Southwest Ranches, FL on November 10, 2019 at 3:00 PM.

Local arrangements will be handled by Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care University Drive Chapel.

Graveside services will be held at The Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, PA. under the direction of Ronald Smith Funeral Home of Duncannon, PA on a later date.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to her Church with designation for the church,
