If Mrs. King had a second name, it would be Grace. She had so much of it and shared it generously and kindly. Shortly after marrying my husband, who was her son Steve’s high school buddy; she and I agreed that I could refer to her as my pretend mother-in-law as she had known Ron as a boy and his own mother had already passed decades earlier. I will treasure Mrs. King’s wit, her nurturing spirit, and her steadfast faith in God. How blest we are to have had her in our lives! Evelyn

My Nana wasn’t perfect but she always wanted to know everything about us and never forgot a birthday. I will miss her greatly, one of my favorite times with her was when I was young and she let me use the swifter whenever I came over I thought I was being so helpful and I will never forget.

Nicky was such a wonderful & sweet lady! It was always such a joy to talk to her! She could make me smile whenever I heard her voice. That beautiful French accent of hers & her always positive outlook on life gave me such joy. Her ability to go anywhere & do anything she wanted, was so inspiring! It didn’t matter if she had to travel alone. Nothing ever stopped her! She enjoyed life & made so very many people happy — what a legacy!! I will truly miss her!! Sincerest sympathies to her entire family.

My grandmother was an incredible person and a true inspiration to many. She lived a long and fulfilling life that I’m proud to be a part of. I was Grandma’s little boy — she took me everywhere, from trips across the U.S. or just to the local baseball card shop. I learned a lot from her, most importantly, to enjoy life. She would tell me that “you only get one and to enjoy of every moment”. I know Grandma was proud of everything I’ve accomplished in life, but nothing made her happier than her great granddaughter, Elyse. I’m proud that Elyse’s middle name Nicole is after you. She will carry your name proudly and hopefully take after you.

You will be truly missed Grandma. I LOVE YOU and I am thankful for everything moment we shared.

But oh, what bargain could there be. What pledge or promise could we make.To save ourselves this present ache. And keep her here? Ten Years? Ah no T’ would hurt us then to let her go. There is no time that we could set for parting . We who must remain are never ready for such pain. Ever our prayer would be Not Yet! Not Yet, dear God , another day with us let our beloved stay.

Love Always,

Noelle
