To Norbert's Family:
We want to share some of the memories we have of your beloved Father.
He used to live just 2 blocks away from our home in Sinajana. We all were classmates from 7th to 10th grade, while my husband was his classmate additionally up to graduation from FDMS.
He had a unique laugh – sometimes tentative, sometimes full-bodied depending on whom he was with. He was so smart, a man ahead of most of his school peers, in technology.
He had slick moves on the basketball court.
I remember the efforts he made toward expanding the development of the Chamorro curricula in Guam.
He was a kind and good person, and remembered thusly for those traits.
He liked to fold his arms across his chest, even in school, just like he did in the picture of him and his brother Uncle John taken with him wearing his FDMS '68 alumni T-shirt.
Fortes in Fide,
Henry and Florence
