Sadly, Norman passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 16th. He was 95 years young. Norman was born in Newark, New Jersey. He was raised in Nutley, New Jersey by his father Michael and mother Concetta. He was a graduate of Kings Point Academy and a distinguished Veteran of World War II in which he rose to the rank of Lieutenant in the Navy. He enjoyed teaching and sharing his knowledge, which included reading to children and also Senior Drivers Education for 55 Alive. Many people were familiar with Norman at the club house in his community, since he was frequently seen working out in the gym. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Anita, 2 children, Bruce and Diane, 3 grandchildren, Vincent Norman Landis, Bethia and Kathrine. He also enjoyed his 2 great grandchildren, Seraphina and Arabella.
To say that Norman was a wonderful man is an understatement. Everyone that ever met Norman immediately fell in love with him. He was patient, kind, caring and soft spoken. At 6’1” he was definitely a gentle giant.
Norman, you will be missed by many. Rest in Peace.

Diane, I happened on your father’s obituary quite by accident today. I am so, so sorry to read of his passing. He was a wonderful man, and I am sure that he had many friends. It has probably been 45 years or so since the last time I saw you. I hope life is treating you well. Take care, and stay safe. Regards, Les
