To a brother dearly missed and never forgotten… (August 06,1957 – April 09TH, 2016) With appreciation for all the happy memories…we love and dearly miss you. In Commemoration… April 09th, 2018 A SOUL UNBOUND With eyes gently closed Imperceptibly breathing, so still and reposed You lay as if asleep A soul in timeless suspension, awaiting its moment to leap Amidst the hallowed calm All strain dissolved without a qualm Basked within its golden light Your spirit was guided towards Heaven’s might Held within that transient space Serenity swept upon your face And acceding to its beguiling grip Lay a contented smile upon your lips Over prior days you’d traveled Inquisitively venturing, then returning Tethered, as the familiar host Your mission to observe, adjust, and curiously coast Within the confines of such astral flights Lay the miracle of life beyond Bringing a preview of knowledge sublime In your journey of continuing time For within those moments, when your soul took to flight Came enduring comfort and welcomed peace Of loved ones encircling you, and those waiting beyond Poised to walk with you, on your journey to release We gathered together that balmy April morn To answer God’s recall of a favorite one Then, holding you close, blending tears of sadness and joy We transferred you lovingly to your eternal Home And now, within the stillness of time Surfing the airwaves in comic mime Distal sounds of that indelible laughter Reminding us you’re still near, now and forever after. Love always, Jennifer
