Petra Jereda, age 97, a resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, formerly of Pembroke Pines, Florida, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, October 18, 2018. Petra was born on May 19, 1921, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, to the late Quitin Gonzalez and Antonia Lopez. Survived by her children, Jose Angel Jereda, Edmundo Jereda, Arnold Jereda and Mariz Jereda and 8 grandchildren. Graveside Service will be held on Monday, October 22nd, 11:00 AM at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery north. Arrangements entrusted to Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.
