Ray Williams, Jr., 89, a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great great-grandfather and brother, died at Memorial Regional Hospital on December 2, 2018. 

Ray was born on October 29, 1929 in Miami, Florida to John R. Williams, Sr and Laura Mae (Wynne) Williams. In 1948, he joined the armed forces and served as a Private in the U.S. Air Force until he was honorably discharged in November 29, 1950. Ray was a brave and loyal soldier, as well as a patient, fun and loving man. 

He is survived by his beloved children, Karen Raulin and her husband Ralph, Janet Teixeira and her husband Pete, Matthew Williams and his wife Jolie, Diana Stansell and her husband Tim and Debbie Canady and her husband Paul; sister, Laurene Tibbs; grandchildren, Veronica and her husband John, Caryn and her husband J.D., Laura, Brooke, Alex, Matthew, Andrew, Raymond, Zachary, Jacob and Abigail; great-grandchildren, Justin Canady, James Bratcher, Cady Young, Shelby Bilbrey, Dominick Hamilton and Erin Dowdal; and 17 great great-grandchildren. 

A viewing will take place at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel on Wednesday, December 5th from 6-8 PM with a Tribute of a Lifetime and Masonic Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, December 6th 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with the burial immediately following at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Pastor Keith Spenser. A memorial meal will be hosted following the burial at Trinity Lutheran Church, 7150 Pines Boulevard, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024. Funeral arrangements are provided by the Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care.
