SMITH, Richard James, 72, a proud US Navy veteran and long time resident of Hollywood, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Born in 1945, in Bronx, New York, to the late Joseph Smith and Myra Smith. After his honorable service in the military, Richard made a career as a Police Officer. He served until retirement. He is survived by his wife, Judith L. Marini; daughters, Traci Smith and Lisa Smith; granddaughter, Casey Blackburn; brother, Joseph Smith; and sister, Margaret Martin.
