Robert L. Garris, 59, cherished husband, father and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, July 28, 2016, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was born on September 16, 1956, in Wilmington, Delaware, to the late Raymond Garris and Sarah Paterson. Robert was an excellent husband, father and brave fighter, who fought the brain cancer until the very end. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all the great caregivers at Memorial Regional Hospital who helped him throughout his illness.
