BARKER, Roger Haslet, 58, of Fort Lauderdale, passed away early morning on Friday, August 4, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. Roger was a brilliant man; he obtained a Master’s degree and was a school Principal for 30 years. After his retirement, Roger, relocated from West Virginia to south Florida to enjoy life. He enjoyed gardening and loved to ride his bicycle to the beach. He was so friendly that he would always make friends every where he went. He will be dearly missed by his partner of 2 years, Roberto Reyes; his sister, Mary Etta Dunlap;niece, Pamela Shorkey and the many friends he made along the way.
