Cooper-Desposito, Rose, 95, of Pembroke Pines, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2015. She was born on June 16, 1919, in New York, NY, to the late Rocco Di Giacomo and Concetta Iazetta. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Morris Cooper. Rose is survived by her niece, Jo-Ann Caliendo and nephew, Sal Caliendo. We will celebrate Rose’s life on Saturday, January 10, 2015, 3:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel.

I remember attending Aunt Rose’s 93rd birthday party at the Pembroke Pines Moose. She was so happy and smiling all the time. When they brought out the cake Jo-Ann told me they didn’t have a number three for the cake so they just cut an eight in half. It looked Great on the cake and Aunt Rose had a big smile as she blew out the candles. I will remember that smile !
