Francois, Rosiane, 87, of Miramar, entered into the gates of Heaven on May 22, 2014. Born in a small town called Marigot on November 11, 1926, Rosiane Jeudy Francois began her journey through life. Rosiane was the 4th child of Rominal Jeudy and his wife. She was, however, raised by her aunt Altia Jeudy in a much disciplined way. It was from there that Rosiane learned the meaning of hard work.
After leaving Marigot, she left for Port Au Prince where she married Jean Valliere Francois and raised 4 children. She became a seamstress and sewed for everyone in her neighborhood, especially uniforms for school children. Since Haiti, we knew what a big heart she had by helping everyone who needed it, she would put herself in dire need just to assist someone else.

In 1979, her and her children moved to the United States to start a new life. People were in tears in Haiti when she left, because they were losing their best friend, their confidant, the one who was there for them whenever needed. Upon her arrival in the United States, her language barrier did not keep her from taking care of her family. She worked odd jobs in order to provide.

Unfortunately, her illness started in 1995 where she was diagnosed with a chronic disease, and with that came a great number of ailments. She had numerous hospitalizations in New Jersey, Georgia, and finally Florida. Through it all, 3 of her 4 children, Pastor Verneret, Guerda and Yolene cared for her. Her other son Kesner is not living in the United States.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 30, 2014, between 7-9 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera University Drive Chapel. There will be a Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 8:00 p.m.

Religious Service will take place on Saturday, May 31, 11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens north.
