Roy was my Dad.He loved me unconditionally & was just one of the good guys. His nickname for me was “Sunshine”.We shared a HUGE love of Jimmy Buffett songs, cold beer,Tastykakes & above all our beloved Philadelphia Eagles. We went to many a game in which we sweated & froze and were hoarse from screaming and cheering. My heart has a large whole missing that his love occupied.I will wear all my many, many Eagles jersys that he bought me & carry on the torch.I promise to be there for Mommy & see that she is taken care of.I miss you so much & would give anything for a big hug from my Dad! I love you.

I miss a good guy and a good friend who always made me feel special. Roy was such a solid and honest person. You will always be remembered.

If this is the same Roy A. Fanshier that worked at U. S. Adjustment in Trevose, Pennsylvania and I believe it is I read this notice of his passing with much sadness. Roy was a wonderful guy. He was one of the most fair and honest bosses I have ever had. I lost touch with him after he relocated to Charleston and always tried to locate him without success. I was just searching Facebook to see if he or Lynne might be on there when the name brought up notice of an obituary. I would love to hear from Lynn or his daughter Debbie. I believe I remember the name Paul Lubinecki as a good friend of his so unfortunately I believe this is the same Roy although I surely wish it wasn’t.
