Judge Seay was a person full of life and enthusiasm. Appearing before him as an attorney was an opportunity to see a judge with the judicial demeanor of fairness, justice rendered, consideration and dignity shown to everyone who appeared before him. I wish more of the judges on the bench today were like him. He will be sorely missed by those fortunate enough to know him and work in his courtroom. Although he administered justice fairly he had a wonderful sense of humor, and humility, which seems sadly rare today.
