We are so sorry to hear of Sams’s passing. We have so many fond memories of him. I will always remember him sitting in front of mom and dad’s Aunt Irene and Uncle Fred’s, fireplace with a roaring fire which he made and a highball in his hand, laughing and telling us funny stories about his hunting expeditions.

He always rememberd mom Aunt Irene every holiday season by sending her a beautiful floral arrangement . He knew how much she loved flowers! Then he would call her, that would make her day!!!

May all the good memories of Sam warm your hearts and bring a smile to your lips of a dear man who was larger than life!

Love,

Sally Hogg Scheidegger

I and my dad David shared many of those hunting experiences with Sam, he was always entertaining, more laughing than hunting at times. The getogethers back at our cottages was always a blast. Sam had a way to make everyone around him feel great. I will always happily remember those days when thinking of him, and feel a sorrow that he is no longer with us. God bless you Sam…till we meet again. Sincere sympathies to all his family. Richard
