Jervis, you always lived out of the kindness of your heart, and to that I thank you. The time I spent working with you, eating behind the grill, hanging out on liberty, and most importantly, laughing… it will never be forgotten. For many, including myself, you will be in our hearts forever.

My dear condolence to your family and friends…I have nothing but great memories of Jervis in Japan…Jervis was a very nice person always lending a ear to listen on…never judged anyone and was willing to hang out with any and everyone no matter your shape, color or religious background…He was a friend among all friends onboard the USS Fort Mchenry LSD43…He will surely be missed but never forgotten….I am forever grateful as well as honored to have been a friend to him…

Be at peace
