Selwyn H. Sifontes, age 84, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, passed away at his residence, in the presence of his family, on January 23, 2021. He was born in Sangre Grande, Trinidad, West Indies on August 29, 1936 to the late Lionel and Edna Sifontes.

He was preceded in death by his sister: Ianthe DeSilva.

Selwyn is survived by his wife of 60 years: Mary Shirley Sifontes; children: Wynette Filiatreault, Selwyn (Michelle) Sifontes, Fabian Sifontes and Bernard Sifontes and grandchildren: Neiliane (Ronald) Auguste, Nicholas (Nandi) Williams, Anthony (Hayley) Sifontes, Katherine (Anthony Fremuth) Sifontes, Joseph Filiatreault and Michael Filiatreault.
