Shirley Platt, cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, of Coconut Creek, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016. She was born on December 16, 1939, in Washington, DC. Preceded in death by her mother Bertha Venable. Shirley is survived by her loving children, Terri Carrick, Victor Carrick and Glenda Baldwin; grandchildren, Hayley Cavo, Christopher Council, Sabrina Baldwin, Sean Baldwin; great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Carson Council.
