Sylvia Leiter, a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt, of Pembroke Pines, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2016, at the age of 97. She was born on August 21, 1919, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Jacob Raichick and Tillie Prusoff. Obtained her Bachelor’s degree and became a teacher, a job she loved. She is survived by her beloved husband, Bernerd Leiter; son, Julian Leiter; sister, Beatrice Schaum; nephews, Mark Schaum and David Schaum. Per her request, no service will be held.
