Tabbie Unicy George Walker was born to the late Laurent and Maude George in Biabou, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, British West Indies on February 15, 1924. She was one of ten children; Bruce, Millie, Jane, Rosa, Digby, Tabbie, Marie, Rhona, Hermus and Felix.
Tabbie attended the Biabou Methodist School. She pursued teaching as a career and was passionate about teaching her students at the Biabou Methodist School. One of her students is here today, Mrs. Rhona Lewis. Tabbie sang in the Church choir and was a member of the leagues in the Methodist Church. She assisted her father with the daily operations of his grocery store. Tabbie migrated to Trinidad in her early 20’s and completed training in fashion designing, embroidery and industrial sewing. She continued to sew regularly until recently. She enjoyed this pastime thoroughly. She was threading a needle effortlessly at the age of 93! Tabbie was passionate about traveling. She lived in Curacao, (Netherlands Antilles), Trinidad, West Indies, St. Croix, British Virgin Islands. Great Britan and the United State of America. She lived her life to the fullest!
Tabbie migrated to Curacao in her late 20’s where she met and fell in love with Jillian’s father, the late Joseph Mourillon. Migrating to Great Britain in 1959 where she worked as a nurse assistant and was very happy in the medical field. She migrated to the United States in 1971 where she married the late William Walker and they settled in New York.
Tabbie regularly attended Epworth United Church in Hollywood, Florida. She thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday Services and joyfully sang the Hymns which reminded her of her time in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. During the last three years of her life, Tabbie attended the Easter Seals Adult Day Care Center in Pembroke Pines. She was involved in all the activities, singing, dancing, exercises, sewing, arts and crafts and the monthly field trips. Tabbie peacefully left this life on January 31, 2018 for her heavenly life.

Her Brother; Hermus in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Nieces; Grace, Judith, Patrice, Marilyn, Kelene, Joyln, Jackeline, Bridget, Cynthia, Verona, Pauline, Claudette, and Annette, Nephews; John, Harris, Kingsley, Hollis, Bing, Hermus and special Nephew-in-law; Brad Elliott and several Great Nieces and Great Nephews.
Rest in Peace our beloved Tabbie. You will be remembered with love always. We Love You our “Heavenly Angel.”
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018, from 2-4 PM with a Tribute of a Lifetime Service at 3:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. Reception will follow until 6:00 PM. Burial will take place in St. Vincent at a later date.
