Tom had many successes during his life…but I think his proudest would be his family. It has always been apparent to me that he imbued his children with a high ethical standard and an attitude of caring for others. I’ve been proud to be a member of Pat & Tom’s extended family.

Our deepest condolences for the family.. I remember being nosy and wandering next door to the Goodson garage and there would be Tom creating something new out of something old, whether it be a car or an antique of some kind..I’d ask a few questions, then Tom who was concentrating on what he was doing would look up at me and say, “Well its about that time.” The meaning was subtle but unmistakable for me. He was too much a gentleman to say you are bugging me, leave.Sure enough it was my cue to say goodnight and head next door. Shortly thereafter his garage door would close to insure I’d didn’t return..Rest in peace Sir you deserve it..We will really miss seeing you there working quietly night after night..
