We knew and loved Sis Devine before we got married. Over the years we have reflected fondly on the advise she gave us on life and love and marriage. We will miss her and remember her always. Our prayers are with Bro Devine, John and the rest of the family.

Sis Devine had such a matriarchal command at North Orlando SDA when I was growing up there, and although it is always tough to say goodbye to those we love, I remember her as someone who lived life with honesty and integrity. Whether you liked it or not, one always know where they stood with her! My deepest condolences to Bro. Devine and the rest of the family. The love and committment that Bro and Sis Devine demonstrated is a rare and beautiful thing….57 years…AMAZING! My prayers and thoughts are with you in this difficult time.

Life is but a stopping place,

a pause in what’s to be,

a resting place along the

road to sweet eternity.

We all have different journeys,

different paths along the way,

we all were meant to learn some

things, but never meant to stay.

Our destination is a place

far greater than we know,

for some, the journey’s quicker,

for some the journey’s slow.

And when the journey finally ends,

we’ll claim a great reward,

and find an everlasting peace,

together with the Lord.

Our deepest condolences to Bro. Devine, John and the rest of the family.
