In Loving Memory of Victor A. Rambla
1937 – November 1, 2026
ㅤ
Victor A. Rambla was a man of profound strength, quiet dignity, and immense love, whose legacy will forever endure through the generations he built. Born in Cuba, Victor was a man of deep conviction—a trait that cost him three years of his freedom when he was placed in a concentration camp simply for thinking differently. Driven by an unyielding commitment to his family, Victor found the strength to endure the camp until the long-awaited notice to leave Cuba finally arrived. In 1970, he and his family arrived in the United States through the historic “Freedom Flights,” stepping into a new life of liberty.
ㅤ
In 1955, Victor married the love of his life, Gladys. Together, they shared a beautiful, lifelong devotion until her passing in 2023. In 1974, Victor established his home in Oakland Park, Florida, where he would remain a respected resident for over fifty years.
ㅤ
As a skilled contractor, Victor worked tirelessly with his hands, building numerous houses across his community, including the very home where he raised his daughters.
Victor was the true patriarch of his family—a strong, hardworking provider, and an exceptional grandfather and great-grandfather. He lived to see and bless his fourth generation of boys, taking immense joy in knowing they were all safe, happy, and doing well. Beyond his devotion to his home, Victor was defined by his radical generosity toward his fellow man. He was a loyal friend to many and was always entirely willing to help anyone in need.

On November 1, 2026, at the age of 89, Victor’s earthly job was beautifully completed, and he was promoted to Heaven to be reunited with his beloved Gladys. He leaves behind a legacy of freedom, hard work, and unconditional love
