Vivian truly left the world a better place. I’m so grateful that I had the honor of getting to know her and hear her life story. It was inspiring to learn from her strength and perserverance and to witness how she used those experiences to demonstrate true compassion, grace, and kindness. She will be so missed, as she was so loved.

Vivian was an amazing and wonderful friend. I’ll never forget her hugs, her smile and her support when we worked together at Where Magazine. My deepest condolences to all of you. She will always be loved!

Vivian was truly one of the most caring, selfless, amazing women I have ever known. Growing up she was like a second mother to me and then when I had my own daughter she became a surrogate grandmother to her.

She was independent and strong and lived for her family, especially her daughter – who everyone knows they didn’t go a day without talking (usually more then once).

Vivian is very much loved and will be missed by so many.

I worked with Vivian for 10 years at Where South Florida Magazine. She was a very sweet and dear person, loved by so many.

Janine, my condolences to you and to the rest of your extended family. I of course did not know your mother but you can see her sweetness and kindness in the photo on this page and clearly she raised a strong woman in you with the same loving qualities. I lost my mother two years ago but she is always with me, as your mother will be with you. I wish you strength in this difficult time and to remember that she prepared perfectly to be a wonderful mother for you beautiful little Ivy and that every day you and Jay take care of her your mother is as well.
