Heaven has gained a bright shining light. May our memories serve to be an example of Wayne’s service here on earth. Let us strive to share the gospel just as he did, with everyone we meet!

I’ll never forget being at your apartment & playing with your ferrets. Your girls had the best daddy a girl could want to have. See you at the right hand side my friend.

Thank you for teaching me how to love my wife and keep my vow to her. Thank you for showing me the importance of planning ahead for life’s storms. Your love for Barby, Sammy, and Sophia is beautiful. I will miss you. Thanks for giving a 19 year old punk a place to stay. Thanks for teaching me that I have a big mouth, tha helped me to see that blind spot and work to correct it. I love you.

Although we weren’t as close, I want to say that what I know and what I saw was a man of conviction, who loved Jesus with intensity and passion, and loved his wife and girls as no other

Thank you Wayne for always sharing yourself with me. You taught me a lot of things, like how to bake a whole chicken. Taught to love lamb chops to name a few things. But the greatest thing you taught me was Grace and Forgiveness. I love you for that. You life displayed for the Love of Christ. Thank You…

Wayne Ware, about 15yrs ago you gave me a floppy disk with all kinds of dos software to trouble shoot computers. I don’t have the disk anymore but i do have the software still. You gave me a hobby, it kept me out of trouble. You let me cut your grass to earn money so that i can build my own computer, which you taught me how to do. You took me deep sea fishing, and when you realized i was bored because i wanted to throw a line in the water, you stopped your boat and let me do that. You were a huge influence on my life! You will be missed!!

Wayne, you will always be remembered as a true friend. To this day, I am so grateful for your daily phone calls and support in some very dark times. Your friendship to John in his journey of illness testifies of your faith, in excercising forgiveness at its greatest. We always knew where we stood with you, yet always departed with hugs and smiles. You have left a beautiful legacy on this earth in Barby and your girls. There is a crown with many jewels upon you and I am honered to be called your sister in Christ.

Wayne was a Gem of a person. I met him when I was just a kid, about 11 years old. He always kept tabs on me and the other kids at the church. He’d ask how we are doing in school and most importantly, made sure we were keeping God first in our lives. One thing I also remember about him was that he never made us feel inferior or un-important bc we were kids or teenagers at the time, he spoke to us always as respectable brothers and sisters in Christ and he always encouraged us along our path. Now that I am much older, I look back and remember Wayne as not only a trusted Christian friend, but a loving brother, positive role model and awesome display of a faithful servant.
