Wilfrid (Freddy) J. Siclait, 70, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away in peace on Friday, November 1, 2019, after a long battle with chronic illness, his family by his side, in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Wilfrid, was born in Port au Prince, Haiti on March 17, 1949 to Arsene and Luce Siclait (both deceased).  He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Don Roggie (Gee) Siclait; his children Marlon, Jacklyn (David) Harrison, Karl, Gary, Garnet (Nandranie) Bhalai, Don Roggie (Robert Cassanova) and Wilfrid A. (Jean) Siclait; his grandchildren, Rudy (Scott) Rivera, Priscilla, Lauren, Christopher, Bradley and Ian Bhalai, Alexis and Andre Harrison, Arianna Lane, Shadae, Gianna, and Alyssa Casanova, and Kobe Siclait; his siblings Mary, Evelyn and Pierre-Arthur Siclait; in laws, nieces, nephews and friends,.  Wilfrid is preceded in death by his brother, Arnold Siclait, and grandson, Jordan Lane.  After relocating from Haiti in the late 60s, to Brooklyn, New York, Wilfrid attended St. John’s and New York University, was employed as an IT analyst, retiring from Blue Cross Blue Shield NY, was a real estate agent, and an entrepreneur.  In 1989, Wilfrid and his family took a leap of faith and relocated to Pembroke Pines, Florida, opening a Carvel franchise in Margate, Florida.  Wilfrid enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, engaging in travel and social events.  He will be greatly missed, but lovingly and fondly remembered by his adoring wife, family, and friends.

A joyful celebration will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019, 10 am Church Viewing, 11:00 am Service at Cooper City Church of God (Officiated by Pastor Hemming, III), located at 9191 Stirling Road, Cooper City, FL 33328, followed by Burial at Queen of Heavens Cemetery in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Visitation will be held at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care Chapel, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024, on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM with Tributes of a Lifetime beginning at 7:30 PM.
