I shall always remember my friend Fr. Morgan Speer. He was someone I could always count on and someone who genuinely cared for others. I listen each night to a sermon that he shared at our church several years ago, I still, to this day, find comfort in his words. Good bye my friend and God bless you.

We will miss Fr. Morgan dearly. He always challenged others to settle for nothing less than God’s truth, intertwined with His grace and compassion. He has encouraged and influence me. I will truly miss him. I pray for God’s grace and peace for his family and all who love him.

Fr Morgan was a faithful and gentle man. He sought God’s will for his life and shared that with others.
As his first contact with the CEC in the 90’s, I was honored and blessed to have known him. It was always a joy to have him come to services at the church-in-a-box that I set up each week in Palm Beach Gardens, and to my Home Church as he discerned his call from Methodism to the CEC. But I’ll never forget the first time we met, at a cafe in downtown West Palm Beach for lunch and to share our stories and enjoy fellowship.
Cindy – you and your children are in Patty and my thoughts and prayers.
I will ask that a Mass be said for him, even as he now enjoys the true heavenly banquet with our Lord.
Rest in peace brother.

Morgan, you will never be forgotten for many reasons. I remember how Leroy and I met you, we went to see someone speak, they weren’t speaking and you were on stage and we heard you speak with others. You were the last one to see my cousin in ICU and prayed with him and I know you and him are together now. You baptized Jedidiah in Myra’s house 20 years ago. You inspired many with your giving heart and showed God’s love to all. You will be missed.

I think of this man and all the things he helped me thru. He was an awsome man. Even tho he was not perfect. He was a man that helped me grow in Christ and mentored me for many years. I will miss him only on this side of the grave. My prayers go out to all of his family. I want you to know I will always remember you and your family.

Dear Cindy and Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Morgan’s passing away. However, since we are people of great faith, I am confident he is happy and healthy in heaven.
